With every piece being custom, the process can and does vary, but below you will find a brief description of our typical procedure.
To get started
Begin by simply giving Joel Steenhoek at Custom Woodworks a call or send him an email. Whether you know exactly what you want down to the last detail or simply have a need. Joel Steenhoek has the ability to create a design seen in photographs or a completely new design to fill your own personal vision and style. This is quickly made possible with the use of a 3D computer design software in your home were you are most comfortable and better able to visualize the finished product. During the design process changes can be easily made to see other door styles and configurations before construction of your project begins.
Meeting
This step can be done on the phone, through email, by appointment in the Custom Woodworks shop, or in your home or business. During this time, Custom Woodworks collects all of the information needed to provide a proposal.

Proposal
After the customer has supplied all information needed and a design has been completed and approved, you will receive a proposal showing the exact cost of cabinetry for the particular design approved. The "Total Cost" will be valid for 30 days beyond date posted. The Proposal is determined through information provided by the client and is subject to change based on the accuracy of that information.
Deposit
Upon approval of the proposal, and signed contract a deposit of 50% of the final price is placed. This deposit allows us to purchase the materials, cover our costs while we are constructing the cabinetry, and serves as a commitment from the client. Once the deposit is placed a date is given in which the client can expect to have their cabinetry.
Delivery/Installation
Custom Woodworks delivers and installs all cabinetry to insure a careful, proper delivery and installation. After delivery and installation the remianing 50% of the final price is due.
